Patent and Trade Marks Attorney

Mark’s academic background is in computer science and electrical engineering. He assists clients in obtaining and enforcing their intellectual property rights in the areas of software, electronics and engineering. Prior to joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick, Mark worked for a leading automotive manufacturer.

Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in patent practice in Australia. His professional practice focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications both in Australia and overseas. Mark focuses on a diverse range of inventions, including electronic devices, mining and mining hardware, drones and weaponry, software, computer implemented inventions and electronic gaming machine systems.

Mark has been recognised as a leading practitioner in the 2020 IAM Patent 1000.
