Innovation & Commercialisation – Which Government Funding Programs are available to you?

Have you ever considered applying for a Government funding program? Do you know what programs are available and how to access them?

Depending on the nature of your business, you could be eligible for a grant ranging from $5,000 to $2 million, so it pays to be informed.

At this seminar, Gary Twomey, an accountant and registered R&D Tax Practitioner, will provide an overview of the major Government Funding programs at a Commonwealth and Victorian Government level. These programs aim to support companies developing and commercialising innovative products, processes and services.

Gary will outline some key Government Funding Programs available and provide practical tips and advice on how to access them. The following Funding Programs will be discussed:

  • R&D tax incentive Program
  • Export Market Development Program
  • Accelerating Commercialisation Program
  • Next Generation Manufacturing Investment Program
  • Victorian Government’s Future Industries Fund

The duration of the seminar will be approximately 1 hour.

About the presenter:

Gary Twomey has more than 20 years’ experience within the innovation and accounting environment, and he specialises in providing specialist strategic and financial advice to companies engaged in research, development and commercialisation activities. His comprehensive knowledge of Government Funding programs has successfully assisted over 250 companies gain approximately $240M of funding to assist with research development, early commercialisation and exporting activities.
