Ethics is an important issue which underpins professional duties. This seminar will discuss ethical obligations and provide guidance on how to navigate the complex areas of professional conduct.

At this seminar, Magda Bramante will discuss recent cases which consider the following:

• The making of misleading statements when seeking an extension;
• Whether one off mistakes amount to unsatisfactory professional conduct; and
• Inadvertent disclosure of confidential information.

The duration of the seminar will be approximately 1 hour.

 About the presenter:

Magda Bramante is a Senior Associate of Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick Lawyers, and is a patent and trade marks attorney and lawyer. Magda has a wide range of experience in all aspects of intellectual property including patent, design, trade mark, copyright and trade practices issues. Magda is also experienced in Federal Court matters and opposition proceedings before the Patent and Trade Mark Office.
