Today marks the annual Graeme Clark Oration, of which POF is very proud to be a long standing sponsor. The Oration informs the community about scientific advances in health and medical research, delivered by recognised global leaders in their field. This year the Oration will be delivered by Professor Timothy Denison from the University of Oxford.
Professor Denison’s work explores the fundamentals of physiologic closed-loop systems, and prior to this he helped oversee the design of next generation neural interface and algorithm technologies for the treatment of chronic neurological disease. His speech at the Oration focuses on the opportunities and challenges for interfacing electrical and biological circuits for the treatment of disease.
