About the role

Ready to step up and manage a small team? This is your chance to make an impact in a hands-on generalist role where you’ll be managing a small team responsible for providing expert advice and support to the employees and leaders at POF.

Reporting to the Head of People & Development and leading a People & Development Coordinator and an Office Coordinator, you’ll own key people processes, partner with leaders to build high-performing teams, and lead initiatives that elevate our P&D practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support and coach the People & Development Coordinator and Office Coordinator to ensure smooth implementation of P&D and building facilities-related processes,
  • Provide practical advice and guidance across all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and contribute to workforce planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate key firm-wide processes including performance reviews, remuneration, reward and recognition and promotions.
  • Lead engagement, wellbeing and diversity & inclusion initiatives, including engagement and D&I surveys and action planning.
  • Contribute to and lead People & Development projects and broader firm-wide initiatives.

You will have:

  • Degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • Sound understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team (desirable but not essential)
