Marketing & Events Coordinator

About the role

Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick are Intellectual Property protection specialists operating across Australia and for clients globally. We’re seeking a driven, motivated, and passionate full-time or part-time (0.8) permanent Marketing and Events Coordinator to play an important role in driving growth for our people and business.

This is the perfect role for someone in the early stages of their career to gain great exposure and ownership within a significant growth sector for the business.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Business Development and working alongside the Business Development Advisor, you will collaboratively oversee our social media strategy and timeline, sharing ownership and responsibility for co-creating, posting, and managing the content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.

Further responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Updating and maintaining firm brochures, including developing content and coordinating input from professionals.
  • Coordinating sponsorship initiatives and events
  • Coordinating client seminars and entertainment events, in conjunction with other internal departments.
  • Coordinating IP directory and award submissions
  • Researching and coordinating promotional items
  • Assisting with the development of tender responses and pricing proposals
  • Assisting with the production of advertising including the coordinating and reporting for Google Adwords
  • Maintaining the marketing calendar
  • Contributing to the development and execution of other marketing initiatives
  • Tracking, measuring and reporting on digital marketing campaigns
  • Coordinating firm run and sponsored events

 

About you

You are a self-assured, “can-do” person who is keen to develop your skills in a full range of marketing and event related activities. You will also possess the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing and Events experience and relevant qualifications
  • Motivation to take ownership of projects and tasks, seeing them through to completion
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT and systems proficiency
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise and maintain attention to detail
