About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-driven Legal Assistant to join our Trade Marks team at POF. In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and secretarial support to our Trade Mark Principals and Attorneys, helping them manage their practice efficiently and deliver exceptional client experience.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team of four Legal Assistants who work closely together to keep the Trade Marks practice running smoothly. If you take pride in delivering consistently high-quality support and enjoy a steady, structured workload, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating, prioritising and completing workflows through our document management system with accuracy and efficiency,
- Performing timely and accurate dictation tasks,
- Preparing and reviewing correspondence with clients,
- Maintaining well-organised electronic files,
- Coordination of invoicing and monthly billings processes,
- Supporting business development activities including preparation of presentation materials, travel planning and diary management.
- Providing administrative assistance to other practice teams when required.
You will have:
- Exceptional organisation skills with strong attention to detail,
- Ability to turnaround high-quality work at a fast pace,
- Technical proficiency with various IT applications and MS office,
- The ability to multi-task effectively and collaborate across different practice teams,
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills,
- Strong time-management skills,
- A positive attitude and desire to be a team player,
- Previous experience in Intellectual Property (highly regarded but not essential)
