This week POF partnered with the Council of Textile and Fashion (CTF) to present a workshop on âIP for Fashion and Textile Supply Chainsâ as part of Melbourneâs International Sourcing Expo.
The three-day event is Australiaâs leading sourcing expo for the apparel, accessories and textile industry. It draws more than 450 exhibitors from around the world including international trade bodies and industry representatives.
POFâs workshop was one of many to run during the expo and provided attendees with practical tips on how to manage, protect and enforce IP rights throughout the supply chain. POFâs presenters were inspired by the tenacity and entrepreneurial spirit of the attendees who shared insights about their businesses and the challenges facing the fashion and textile industry.
POF was also delighted to answer questions and mingle with CTF members including emerging Melbourne designer, Stephanie Henley and Brunswick clothing manufacturer, NMBQ on the CTFâs exhibition stand.
