POF Seminar: The Global Patent Prosecution Highway – What is it and how can it help you?

Please note that this event has already occurred. Go back to events to see upcoming events.

The Global Patent Prosecution Highway (GPPH) offers patent applicants the ability to seek accelerated examination of patent applications in up to 19 countries or regions, including the USA, the UK, Korea and Japan, based on acceptance of a patent claim in another participating country.

At this seminar, Dr Neil Ireland and Daniel McKinley will discuss the GPPH program and cover a number of topics including:

  • What is the Global Patent Prosecution Highway (GPPH);
  • How and when should the program be exploited by Australian businesses and research institutions
  • Benefits to applicants including the relative speed of examination and grant of patents in participating countries; and
  • The relative cost and time savings that can be obtained under the program.

The duration of the seminar will be approximately 1 hour.
