We would like to congratulate our newest Associate, Carla Cher, on her election to the Victorian Division Committee of Engineers Australia.
Engineers Australia is the national forum for engineering advancement and the professional development of its members. With more than 100,000 members representing all engineering disciplines, Engineers Australia is the largest and most diversified professional forum for engineers in Australia. It is a strategic, forward-thinking council which maintains an inclusive vision, placing a strong value on the contributions of different skills, background, gender and age.
Carla has recently joined POF as an Associate in POF’s Electronics, Physics and IT (EPIT) team. Carla has a Master’s degree in engineering, specialising in microtechnology. Her technical expertise includes microfluidics, microelectrical mechanical systems (MEMS), nanotechnology, nanofabrication, renewable energy technologies and medical devices. She has significant experience in protecting and advising on inventions in Australia and overseas. Carla is a valuable addition to POF, and brings with her a varied and unique set of skills.
