We are delighted to announce our newest patent and trade marks attorney, Michelle Blythe, who registered on 6 February 2017.
Michelle joined POF in 2014, having completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine and a Master of Engineering (Biomedical), at the University of Melbourne. During Michelle’s Master’s degree she studied specialist subject areas including tissue and metabolic engineering, forensic biomechanics, medical imaging, biomaterials and clinical engineering. She completed her industry project with the Bionics Institute at St Vincent’s Hospital, focusing on image processing to improve methods of automated neuron counting.
Prior to joining the firm, Michelle held a position as a Biomedical Engineer at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, where she coordinated the roll-out of new infusion devices across the hospital and developed her skills in medical device repair.
