POF collaborating with the O Group in Tasmania to present on intellectual property protection for small business

In June 2015, POF will be teaming up with the O Group in Tasmania to present on intellectual property protection for small business. The O Group helps its members with a number of work related services including training, strategic HR planning, finance planning and small business assistance (among others).

The first seminar in Launceston was very well received. Details about the second seminar in Hobart on 24 June are below.

Demystifying © ™ ® – Intellectual property protection for small businesses.

Do you have:

  • a logo on your business card?
  • a colour scheme, logo or graphic design on your packaging, website or brochures?
  • an innovative product or technology that you want to use, produce and/or sell?
  • a trade secret?

What would you do if a competitor was to copy or use any of this?

If you own or manage a business you might be surprised to learn how much valuable intellectual property (IP) you have; IP you can trade, sell and need to protect. Issues relating to IP – both yours and your competitors’ – can have a major impact on your business.

At this event, we will help you make sense of the confusing world of intellectual property and help you learn your ©’s from your TM’s.
