Patent and Trade Marks Attorney

Peter is an enthusiastic mechanical engineer with a passion for innovation and the law. He has worked on large infrastructure projects, delivering innovative and strategic solutions with respect to mechanical, civil and electrical assets, and has found his niche in intellectual property.

Peter has completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours), a Bachelor of Business (Management), and a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor, with distinction) at RMIT University, and a Master of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Melbourne.

Prior to joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick (POF), Peter worked with a large water utility, and was actively involved in the delivery and review of mechanical and civil infrastructure projects. Peter also worked as a Mechanical Engineer for a large global consultancy, where he was involved in a variety of technical and strategic projects and engaged with a diverse client base. As well as providing technical and advisory services, Peter was involved with the development and protection of intellectual property for novel engineering solutions.

Since joining POF in 2014 Peter has been involved in the prosecution of IP rights for local and international clients. He is passionate about helping clients develop Patent rights and design registrations for their novel products.
