Peter is a mechanical engineer with a passion for innovation and intellectual property law.
He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Management), as well as a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor, with distinction) from RMIT University, and a Master of Intellectual Property Law from the University of Melbourne.
Before joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick he worked with major water utilities and a global consultants. He contributed to the delivery of major infrastructure projects, the management of large mechanical, civil, and electrical assets. He ultimately found his professional focus in the IP field where he contributed to the development and protection of intellectual property associated with novel engineering solutions.
Since joining POF in 2014 Peter is involved in prosecuting IP rights for both local and international clients. He is passionate about helping innovators secure patent protection and design registrations for their new and inventive products.
