Trainee Patent Attorney

Intellectual property being a dynamic and interesting cross-over between science and technology, law and business is what brought Ann’s attention and interest to this field. Ann did her Master of Telecommunications Engineering (Honours) from the University of Melbourne after completing a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication from Mahatma Gandhi University, India.

Prior to joining POF, Ann has worked as an in-house Patent Engineer at engineering R&D firms in Singapore and Sydney and as a Research Associate in Technology consulting and Litigation support firms in India. In her career, Ann has worked with teams focussing on Research and Development, Application Development as well as Business Solutions on inventions across neural networks, image processing, UI technologies, distributed control systems, surveillance systems, e-commerce, virtual and augmented reality.

Ann joined POF in 2018 as a Trainee Patent Attorney. She is involved in patent filing and prosecution for international clients while working towards becoming a registered Patent and Trade Marks Attorney in Australia and New Zealand.
