Lisa is a member of our trade marks team and has over a decade of experience providing advice to local and overseas clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters. She has extensive experience in the prosecution and enforcement of local and global trade marks portfolios, and is recognised for her pragmatic and commercially focused approach.
Lisa’s practice covers all aspects of trade marks registration, protection and enforcement including advising on local and global filing strategies, prosecution, oppositions, non-use removal and revocations actions, and enforcement matters. She has extensive experience developing and managing international trade marks portfolios including advising on brand adoption and use, prosecuting and enforcing trade marks, and with all aspects of the Madrid system for International Registration of trade marks.
Lisa acts for a wide range of local and international clients, ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations, across a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals, medical technology, consumer goods, fashion and apparel, food and beverages, software and communications technology.
Prior to joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick, Lisa trained and worked at a top-tier patent and trade marks firm for 15 years.
Lisa has been recognised as an IP Rising Star in Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars every year since 2020 and has been recommended by WTR 1000 for Trademark Prosecution and Strategy 2020-2024.
