About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail oriented Legal Assistant to join the POFL (Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick Lawyers) team in Melbourne.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to principals and attorneys in our legal team, to help manage their practice and deliver an exceptional client experience.
Reporting to the principals in the POFL team, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents with precision and efficiency.
- Managing workflows through our document management system.
- Timely and highly organised file management.
- Coordination of monthly billing process.
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Providing administrative assistant to other practice teams as required.
About you
You are an experienced administrator with a strong work ethic and flexible mindset. You will also possess the following:
- Initiative and a positive attitude.
- Exceptional organisations skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency with various IT applications and MS Office.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and collaborate across different practice teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in IP valued but not essential.
