Our team consists of technically qualified people with a wealth of industry experience who can provide a full range of intellectual property services including patent drafting and prosecution services, advice on infringement and validity and strategic patent advice. The team is constantly updating its technical knowledge to ensure it is up to the pace of fast moving technologies and is actively involved in industry groups in Australia and overseas.

Ross McFarlanePartner, EPIT Team Leader Melbourne Ross heads the EPIT team. He has considerable expertise in patent drafting, patent infringement and patent opposition work. He spent several years in the 1990s as an in-house patent attorney for The Swatch Group, during which time he qualified as a European Patent Attorney. Ross acts for a number of clients in the telecommunications, software and electromechanical control fields.
