Profile: Before commencing her legal career, Anita worked as a journalist and sub-editor at Australia’s largest regional daily newspaper. Prior to joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick in 2007, Anita was employed as a solicitor with a boutique advertising and marketing firm advising on all aspects of trade mark law including searches, registration and prosecution. Her work at that firm also involved advertising clearances, advising on various promotional and marketing activities, licensing, confidential information, food labelling, copyright and privacy and spam issues.

Anita is a member of our Trade Marks Team where she advises foreign and local clients on trade mark searching, prosecution and enforcement. Anita is also a member of Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick Lawyers Commercial Group.

Anita is currently undertaking a Master of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Melbourne.
