Profile: Before joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick Lawyers in 1998, Margaret practiced as a solicitor and then as a barrister.

Margaret has 20 years experience in both intellectual property litigation and non-contentious work. Her experience in drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements includes patent and trade mark licences and assignments, website agreements, confidentiality agreements, trade mark co-existence agreements, distribution agreements, software agreements and consultancy agreements. She also advises on a wide range of intellectual property, consumer protection and restrictive trade practices issues including breach of contract and labelling law.

Margaret also conducts trade mark oppositions before the Trade Marks Office.
