Profile: After graduating in 1982, Kathy worked in the field of water and waste water analysis. Subsequently she worked at Warner Lambert, pharmaceutical manufacturers, in the quality control laboratories as well as preparing documentation for the drug registration process.

In 1987 Kathy immigrated to Australia and soon after joined ICI Australia as a Patents Officer.

Before joining the Sydney office of Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick in November 2003, Kathy worked at two other high profile patent attorney firms.

Kathy has many years experience in the chemical patents field, in particular pharmaceuticals and food chemistry.

Kathy has extensive experience in patent oppositions, and is experienced in the prosecution of Australian and overseas patent cases, drafting and general patent advice.

Kathy also handles trade mark and design matters.
