Profile: Ross began his professional career with the firm in 1987 as a Technical Assistant.

In 1991, he moved to Europe where he worked with The Swatch Group in Switzerland as an in-house patent attorney.

He returned to Australia in 1997, joining another firm which merged with a national law firm in 2000. He was appointed a partner of the patent and trade marks attorney practice in 2001.

Ross is coordinator of our Electronics, Physics and IT practice team and has considerable expertise in patent drafting, patent infringement and patent opposition work in both Australia and New Zealand.

Ross specialises in patenting all aspects of electronics, communications, software, control and security systems, information technology, optics and microelectromechanical structures in a wide variety of industries.

Ross has been identified in the ALB Intellectual Property Law Guide (March 2009) for his technology expertise.
