Profile: Between 1971 and 1974 Robert worked in a major London firm of Patent Attorneys. He was previously a Patents Officer at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.

Robert joined Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick in 1974, and became a Partner of the firm in 1977.

Robert is one of our most senior and experienced patent attorneys. He is one of very few patent attorneys in Australia with metallurgical qualifications.

He advises clients on patent strategies and drafts and prosecutes patent and design applications, largely for Australian clients.

His clients include Ausmelt and CSIRO’s Materials Science and Engineering Division.

Robert is also a registered British Patent Attorney.
