POF client wins INNOVIC's International Next Big Thing Award 2009

Congratulations to POF client, Mycrolab Diagnostics, which won the prestigious INNOVIC International Next Big Thing Award. Mycrolab Diagnostics is a company involved in the research and development of point-of-care in vitro diagnostics. The systems developed by Mycrolab are beneficial for "bedside" and "in surgery" diagnosis allowing a physician to quickly decide on a treatment regime, without the need to refer samples to a traditional pathology laboratory. The systems will also be beneficial in developing countries where pathology laboratories are either non-existent or otherwise inaccessible. POF is responsible for the prosecution of six patent families for Mycrolab, with each family being pursued in important markets such as the United States, Europe, India and China. POF also acts for Mycrolab in relation to its trade mark filings. We also congratulate POF client, Creative Water Technology, for winning INNOVIC's International Next Big Thing Award in the Green/Environmental category.
