PO&F wins MIP Case of the year award for Asia

On 9 April 2008 in London, Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) announced the winners of its global IP awards.
MIP is a leading global IP-specialist publication.
Amongst other things, case of the year awards were presented on a regional basis.
Phillips Ormonde & Fitzpatrick Lawyers received for Case of the Year award for Asia-Pacific in recognition of its involvement in the case of Lockwood v Doric.
This case involved two appeals to Australia's highest court and took more than eight years.
By any measure, it was a substantial piece of litigation.
