One of Australia’s leading Patent and Trade Marks Attorney firms, Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick, is seeking an experienced secretary to become a key member of its Melbourne legal team. With work/life balance as a core firm value, this is an excellent opportunity to join our small support team in a quality focused team-work environment.
You will be required to provide timely, efficient and accurate secretarial support for two professionals as well as providing administrative support to the broader litigation team as needed. Hands on, accurate file maintenance and management is a key responsibility as well as increasing interaction with our electronic file management system, linking word processing and document management functions, enabling us to maintain our paperless office. You will be heavily involved in word processing (including copy typing and amending, often from dictated electronic instructions). Knowledge of the legal billing process will be an asset.
You will need to be proficient in Microsoft’s Word and Outlook applications and be willing to be trained in our proprietary electronic file management system. Your detail-orientated approach will see you processing invoices with ease. Your proven experience in managing a true secretarial role means your assertive and flexible approach will ensure your success. A friendly and willing contribution to teamwork at all times is a must.
