| | | IP Organisers are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for both research and technology to join the team as an Intellectual Property Researcher. IP Organisers are the investigation and research arm of the Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick brand. Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick has been at the forefront of intellectual property law in Australia since its establishment in 1888.
The successful candidate will be involved in conducting market information research, particularly for key clients whose leading edge, innovative work is within the Chemistry field. To this end, you are required to have, or be close to completing, a Science degree with a focus in organic, polymer or pharmaceutical chemistry.
You will have the ability to think logically and laterally, in order to conduct patent searches, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your organized and diligent approach will enable effective patent “watching” activities. Strong computer and keyboard skills are essential. The ability to work under a moderate amount of pressure and meet deadlines will see you succeed in this role.
You will work with supervision, and be provided training and development in a friendly and professional team environment. Professionalism and enthusiasm along with a reliable and flexible approach will ensure your success.
