| Pharmaceuticals Partnerships Program (P3) is aimed at increasing the amount of high quality pharmaceutical R&D activity in Australia throughout the entire value chain including biotechnology, originator and generic medicines companies. Participating companies will receive thirty cents for each additional dollar they spend on eligible R&D in Australia up to a maximum grant amount of $10 million. P3 is not restricted to companies that sell products on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, and ownership of intellectual property will not impact on the eligibility of R&D under the program. A third round of the P3 program will be offered from July 2007. |
