The Partners of Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick announce the retirement of Senior Partner, David Fitzpatrick.
David joined POF in late-1958 and qualified as a patent attorney in 1962. He became a partner the same year.
David took over as Senior Partner from his father, Bertram Fitzpatrick, in 1972.
During his 37 years as Senior Partner, the firm expanded significantly, both in terms of the numbers of people employed and in terms of the quality and extent of services offered to clients.
The partners acknowledge the great contribution David made to the firm over an extended period of time.
While he has retired as a partner, David will continue to be a Consultant to the firm.
